Accessibility Statement
This page explains how Partners in IM makes their website easy for everyone to use and how they fix issues. It also tells you how to report any problems you find and where to seek help if you are not satisfied with their response.
Partners in IM wants everyone to be able to use Partners in IM, whatever their sight, hearing, movement or way of thinking. This page says what we do about that, what we know is not right yet, and how to tell us when something is in your way.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act, the UK Equality Act guidance and the US Department of Justice ADA Title II rule. New content is checked as it is written, and what the checks find is fixed.
What you can adjust
The Read control on every page (or Alt + A on a keyboard) offers six designed reading modes, larger text, wider spacing and an easier-to-read typeface. Every post and page has a reading bar with Listen, which reads the page aloud and highlights each sentence, Focus, which keeps one paragraph bright at a time, and In short, a plain-language summary under the title. Your choices are kept on your own device only.
What may not be perfect
Some older content, third-party video players, embedded forms and documents supplied by other companies may not meet the standard yet. We are working through the older material.
Tell us
If any part of this site is hard for you to use, please tell us and we will fix it or give you the content another way. Email [email protected]. We aim to reply within five working days.
If you are not satisfied
If you are in the European Union and are not happy with our answer, you can contact the market surveillance authority for accessibility in your country. In the UK you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service. In the United States you can contact the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division.
